• E-E LES modelling on three CO 2 chemisorption cases in bubble columns was conducted. Modified SGS turbulent dispersion (TDF) and added mass stress (AMS) models proposed. Impacts of the SGS-TDF SGS-AMS terms interfacial transfer were assessed. Scaling laws kinetic energy species concentration spectra discussed. It has been generally recognised that force plays an important role interphase momentum transfer. However, effect column bubbly flow not addressed appropriately.
